Aug. 21, 2006, 4:21 p.m.You might look in the scrap heap of talented people you just sent packing because they gave their hearts and souls to Netscape but weren’t brainless disciples bowing at the temple of Calcanis.

Aug. 21, 2006, 5:09 p.m.Note to all applicants: Be advised, you will need to be thick-skinned enough to put up with rude and sometimes crude comments from a small group of site members who do little more than troll the comments and flame every positive thing that you do on the site. This, unfortunately, is a common problem of not just Netscape, but the Internet as a whole.

Aug. 22, 2006, 2:03 a.m.Yeah, oh boy! Let's get some narrow-minded mid-40s goose stepping Nazi fascist content up in here, right away! Maybe Fox News has some spare writers around, except for Tony Snow. He's booked.

Aug. 22, 2006, 5:33 p.m.Well said C.K.
I had already figured that as had many users! Easy for some, under the anonimity of the internet to show their true 'dark' sides.
Good luck~

Aug. 23, 2006, 10:55 p.m.CK: I am an outsider just watching from the bleachers (and a Psy major) but I thing you found the perfect forum for past employees of other corporations to ventilate at their lack of support from their leadership. I am surprised that very few jumped on the bandwagon to criticize a very creative process that yours is which shows how low and uninventive they are. I am an "older" successful businessman (only 80 employees at this time) and I am so tired of the generation expecting something from their employers. Why should we owe them anything? Keep up the good job CK.

Aug. 24, 2006, 10:05 p.m.Netscape Officers, 'Good Luck' on trying to hire a competent staff of IT experts at this point.
This new release is not as good as the one that was replaced. If this release went through and passed a Quality Assurance test schedule, their appears to be some major issues in this organization.
It's unfortunate to the Netscape users that this software is released and replaces a system that many agree is not as good as what they signed up for. Looks to me the rganization is going in the wrong direction.
But hey, I wish all the best in attaining additional IT experts and bringing the new release up to speed.
Sincerely....

As far as I can tell the Netscape staff is unbiased. It's the users who submit stories and write comments who are biased.

If you think Netscape is not a leftwing slanted news source, then I bet you think the same about CNN, NBC,CBS, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post and etc. Thank God for Fox.

Aug. 25, 2006, 4:37 p.m.I know that Netscape has a liberal bias. This is because most Netscape users have a liberal bias. The stories and comments submitted by the actual Netscape staff, however, seem to be nonpartisan.

Aug. 25, 2006, 4:51 p.m.sideways:
it's "anonymity". Besides, netscape is a part of AOL, and we've seen recently just how much AOL values keeping their data anonymous...

Aug. 28, 2006, 2:20 p.m.Looks like the line's still pretty short. Troll for some Freepers bottomfeeding and you might get something slimy on the line, though. They love stinkbait, being real stinky.

March 10, 2007, 9:56 p.m.Off topic, is it a bug that's causing some of my submitted stories to disappear from my 'submitted stories' section? I'm grateful for whoever puts them back when I report it, but they keep disappearing. Two are gone right now, it's always the ones that have pics added with the highest votes/comments. Just wondering, thanks, Blargg.
