I do- if you fly Singapore which I do regularly. Best service I've encountered by far. Number 2 would be Emirates and Number 3, QANTAS. I'm not too hung up on the looks of cabin staff, it's the service that counts. Singapore Airlines tops both though.

For ordinary service, BA and Garuda.

Yeah the airline stewardess have gotten mighty scary over the years, and their personality I have found is very unbecoming... Thats why I have found that chartering a jet is the way to go.. Dont have to deal with all the hassle and problems, and if you are taking more then 6 people with you its even cheaper then if you were flying on a regular airline first class... Fractional Jet ownership, or the Sky clubs are the way to go.....

Well, only if you can manage to leave the scary stewardess at home :-)

The airline employees may be rude because their benefits and pensions are cut. How happy would you be if you had to see a pay decrease every year. Last I checked prices are going up not down. It has to do with hope.

I am sure the pay and benfits in Singapore are up to par with their country.

I never see a pilot that looks like Tom Cruise or a baggage handler that looks like Brad Pitt either.

I suppose if I do not like it I can drive or walk to my destination.

Pay and benifits in the US is way out of line. Pilots making 200k per year and joking that's it's better than working for a living. Flight attendants making 60-80k for easy schedules. And we had to put up with their bad attitudes.

It had to end sooner or later. But the unions hung on as long as possible.

I'd much rather fly Southwest Airlines. Competitive salaries, good service and people with a good attitude.

Y'know I see the references to "airline stewardess" If you really want to get on they're bad side, just say that term to them, and they'll scowl at you, and correct you in saying that they are actually "flight attendents" not "airline stewardess's." Go figure!
