Jobless claims drop 53,000 in latest week

Careers & Jobs – The number of U.S. workers applying for unemployment benefits tumbled by a greater-than-expected 53,000 last week, but a closely watched moving average of claims was at its highest in two and a half years, a government report showed on Thursday.

Funny how all the reports about un-employement being so high. But during the "Golden Years of Clinton", un-employment was at 5.2%, same as what we are now.
